Summer'97 began with something simple - a love for dressing up. As a child, I always found joy in wearing new clothes, but as I grew older, I realised something didn't feel right. Synthetic fabrics never truly felt comfortable on the skin, especially in Indian summers. That's when I slowly found myself drawn to linen and other natural fabrics - pieces that felt light, breathable, and easy to live in.
That shift became the foundation of Summer'97. In a country where summers are intense, I wanted to create clothing that lets you actually enjoy the season - not just get through it. Clothes that feel effortless, comfortable, and truly wearable all day long.
Built from scratch, managed independently, and shaped with honesty - Summer'97 is my way of bringing that feeling of ease and comfort into everyday wear. And this is just the beginning.
